JGLM DHT Q&A call_June 05 2025 【有中文翻譯】

Featured question: “What kind of people should heal the sick? What kind of peopleshould refrain from doing so?”

Answer: 1) Believers and elders. 2) No born-again Christians should be refrained from doing so.

See DHT manual sections 5, 8 and 17.

The Lord is look for willing people—anybody who wants to be used by the Lord— to do His work. The Holy Spirit will back it up, and the person will be healed.

Luke 9:49-50

Mark 16:15-18

John 14:10-12—Healing can happen because Jesus went to the Father. It is wrong that a lot of churches restrict their people from going out and healing people. Jesus says “you go!.”

1 Cor 2:1-5—“…Him crucified (and the stripes He bore)…” It is God, not you, who heals the people.

All Christians who have the Holy Spirit are called to heal the sick and take ground from the devil. We are called to make a difference. Even if we are sick, we can still go out and pray for people. We sow healing, and we will receive healing. Sowing and reaping.

If we live in sin, we need to repent to get right with God. It is not an excuse not to go out and heal people.

Kids can pray for people and get results of healing. Sometimes they are more effective because of child-like faith.

“…he who is not against us is on our side…”—Jesus does not put a lot of restrictions on people; He just wants His work done.

In the New Testament, we see no mentions of Jesus training His disciples on the right doctrines before sending them out to heal the sick and cast out demons.

We need to train people to put the will of the Father first and just go to advance the Kingdom. It is all about the price Jesus paid; it is never about us.

Q1: If believers are sick and ask for prayer should we not only command healing over them, but also, and perhaps first, show them how to command healing over their own bodies and others they know?

A: Yes.

Q2: What does Lamentations 3:33 mean? God does not willingly bring affliction. So, does God unwillingly bring affliction?

A: It is an odd question. God is sovereign, so He will not unwillingly do anything. It is illegal for sickness and diseases to be on us because of what Jesus has done.

Q3: Why did Ananias and Sapphira under grace drop dead for lying (to the Holy Spirit) in the New Testament? Can this happen to people now?

A: It can happen now. They should not have lied to the Holy Spirit. The Lord wanted to get people’s attention. The Lord has given us the wonderful year of acceptance.

We may want to concentrate on this.

The question for us is: How close do we want to live on the edge? We want to be at the center of God’s will, having no sin and guile. Busy with doing the do’s and having no time doing the don’ts. Let’s go all out and focus on what we are doing as Christians.

Note that God DID NOT kill Ana and . The word is “life out”—it means something Ananias and Sapphira did to themselves. They died; nobody killed them. God is a giver of life.

Q4: How do you respond when you command healing for a someone, but they seem to respond with hurt and emotional anguish when we command healing?

Like they are being emotionally hurt by me praying for them.

A: It could be a demon, not the person who is prayed for.

Q5: Can I still pray for someone who doesn't want to be prayed for? I am still a bit confused about that one like example when Yeshua couldn't do much because people weren't asking Him to...I recently had an "experience" where I prayed for someone in pain and he ran away and said 'on no, I' don't do that, I'm an atheist" I said "that is ok, I will believe for you" and I am still believing that he didn't have

pain any more but unless he acknowledges why, won't the enemy just come back on him? Is that why Yeshua didn't do much in certain places?

A: Yes. We have authority over sickness and the devil. We can put the devil down whether the person likes it or not. We can have faith for other people. Note that the dead guys Jesus prayed for did not have any faith.

Q6: Why did God use Esther to save the Jews but the Holocaust still happened?

A: Esther rose up to the challenge; she was willing and did not back down. She showed up at the right place at the right time.

We live in a fallen world. There were Jews who did not buckle. They stood strong.

The question should be rephrased as : How many Christians could stop the Holocaust but choose not to? It was not God who allowed it; it was the church at the time. A lot of disasters can be prevented if people stand up for what’s right.

Note: God never changes, but the way He deals with people through covenants can change (hence Old vs. New Covenants).
