JGLM DHT Q&A call_September 11 2025(有中文翻譯)

Featured question: None.

Q1: Do you have advice regarding how to pray for people requesting prayer for others in a group chat? (Like a prayer chain, where the person is asking for prayer for someone they're not with or not close to/in contact with)?

A: Jesus paid for all sickness and all sins. So, it does not matter what it is. In principle, it is advised to get as physically close to people as we can while ministering healing.

Jesus did most of His healings by laying hands; only two examples of remote healing as seen in the New Testament. The other reason is to develop relation, which lays the foundation for discipleship.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_September 04 2025(有中文翻譯)

Featured question: “When someone is prayed for and doesn’t get healed, who is to blame for that failure?”

Answer: See sections 1, 7&8 of the DHT manual.

God is NOT responsible for someone who is not healed. Jesus’s commandment is for people to be healed; therefore, He cannot withhold healing for someone.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_August 28 2025 (有中文翻譯)

Featured question: “What authority does the devil have to make people sick?”

Answer: None. See section 17 and appendix A of the DHT manual.

Authority has to be legal and legitimate, a legal right to influence somebody else.

Or the legal ability to impose your will on someone else.

In the Gospel, people marveled when they saw that Jesus had authority over thedemons. They could hear the authority in Jesus’s words.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_August 07 2025 (有中文翻譯)

Featured question: “Paul had a thorn in the flesh that God refused to remove (2 Cor 12:7). Likewise, are there some sickness that God simply may refuse to remove?”

Answer: No. See section 6 of the DHT manual.

This is a very common sacred cow. Ironically, it is more difficult to convince believers with God’s love manifested in healing than unbelievers.

God is always our loving helper, not the mean punisher churchianity tries to depict to use.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_July 31 2025(有中文翻譯)

Featured question: None.

Q1: what do you believe are the top ranked sacred cows in regard to healing?

A: The most dangerous one is the one you are believing right now. It does not matter which ranks the highest; you need to get rid of ALL of them.

One of the biggest ones is “generational curse.” False understanding of the sovereignty of God is also dangerous. We cannot have faith if we do not know His will.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_July 24 2025 (有中文翻譯)

Featured question: “Are there some demons that will not come out without prayers and fasting?”

Answer: No. See sections 4&19 of the DHT manual.

Common sense: Demons do not care whether we are hungry or not. We are not going to affect the demons by either eating or not eating. In fact, demons are into afflictions. They would rather see us suffering to death.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_July 17 2025 (有中文翻譯)

Featured question: “If a sick person does not get healed, how long should you pray in tongues to make it happen?”

Answer: Tongues will NOT make it happen. Jesus had made healing happen. Having faith in the finished work of Jesus makes it happen. We were already healed when Jesus was whipped on the whipping post.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_July 10 2025 (有中文翻譯)

Featured question: None.

Q1: Is it God’s intention that we die naturally in our sleep since sickness and disease is from the devil and that our lifespan should be to age 70 or 80 as per the scripture in Psalms or until age 120 after the flood lifespan in Genesis since people don’t live until age 969 anymore?

A: God’s intention is not that we die. God is not a killer. His intention is that we live and prosper. Death is the consequence of the fall of Adam and Eve.
Since the fall, there have been accumulative defects in our DNAs. After the flood, the earth has become very different from what it was before. So, people did not live as long as they did before.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_July 03 2025 (有中文翻譯)

Featured question: “If you have reason to believe that there may be some sort of generational curse involved, should you investigate that first, before healing prayer is administered?”

Answer: No. See DHT manual section 14.

In Christ, we are blessed, not cursed. We are free indeed in Christ.

2 Cor 5:17—“…new creature. Old things are passed away. All things have become new.”

Featured question: “If you pray for a person and the sickness or demon doesn’t leave, what should you tell the person?”

Answer: This is a loaded question, and the premises are questionable. The assumption is to use what we see to judge whether the Word of God is true. See DHT manual section 6.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_ June 19, 2025 【有中文翻譯】

Featured question: None.

Q1: What’s Curry’s policy about attending more than one life team?

A: Every team is di erent, and a team is a team. Members jumping fromone team to another can cause problems than it does helping anything.

We are expected to commit to a life team.

Featured question: “What kind of people should heal the sick? What kind of peopleshould refrain from doing so?”

Answer: 1) Believers and elders. 2) No born-again Christians should be refrained from doing so.

Featured question: “Is healing always God’s will?”
Answer: Yes. See DHT manual section 9.

Luke 4:17-19—Jesus’s job description (quoting Isaiah 61:1). Jesus was sent to do the will of the Father (including healing the sick)

Luke 4:40-44—Jesus laid hands on everyone who needed healing and healed them all. Everyone of them was not righteous, but it did not stop the power of God. Jesus was sent to heal all that was oppressed by the devil. V.43: It was Jesus’s mission to preach.

John 10:10—The job description of the enemy (the devil)(steal, kill and destroy) and Jesus’s job description (“they may have life (being filled with absolute abundance of life) more abundantly”).

Matthew 4:23—Jesus demonstrated the power of the Kingdom by healing all manner of sickness and diseases. All means all. Jesus’s fame went throughout Syria, 500 km away from Israel.

Featured question: “Does Curry Blake have any special anointing and, if so, how do we go about getting that anointing, so we can be more effective?”

Answer: No. See DHT manual section 15.

Anointing: rubbing somebody with oil.

LSJ ancient Greek dictionary: to be rubbed on, used as ointment or salve. The word for anointed is translated as “Christ.” It is not the surname of Jesus (at His time, Jesus was a common name). Note: Jesus was not a Nazirite, so the stereotype that He had long hair is wrong.

So, the term “Jesus Christ” means “Jesus is the anointed King of Israel.”

There is no such a thing called “special anointing.” Either all of us have the anointing, or none of us do.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_March 06 2025 【有中文翻譯】

Q1: “Double minded??” (not sur what exactly the question is. )

A: There is no different than a repented heart. Peter denied Jesus three times, but he was given a second chance.

What’s important here is NOT to dwell in the past. Don’t worry about the future either. Forget the past.

Proverb 24:16—Our Heavenly Father sees us righteous as long as we continue to rise.

Q2: To what extent are natural practices acceptable such as vitamins or eating habits? I assume all of these are part of walking in divine health.

A: See Section 9 of the DHT manual. Divine healing: The only way is God’s way.

Vitamins are fine, but God’s way is higher. Nothing can be added to divine healing.

It is always about where your faith is. Key distinguishing factor: Are you eating those supplements in fear? We are not called to live like merely mortal men.

Nothing wrong in eating right. What matters is to be in no fear, be in faith, and trust God.

Featured question: “According to the account of man born blind in John 9, does the scripture testify that this was to God’s glory? Explain.”

Answer: See section 14 of the DHT manual. The solution: the period at the end of verse 3 should be changed to a comma.

John 9:1-5

9:2—a peculiar question. The disciples had seen many miracles by Jesus, and they had never seen Jesus asking anybody about their sin before ministering to them.

*Be aware of where our thoughts are. Bring them to obedience.

*This version is often used to teach about the generational curse, which by itself is a wrong doctrine.

Exodus 20:3-6—“jealous God” the word for “jealous” is actually a positive one. V5: curse only applies to those who hate God.

Ezekiel 18:9-13—It is not God’s desire to punish everyone for their sin.

2 Peter 3:9—God does not desire anyone to perish in their sin.

希臘文「不信Unbelief」一詞是「apisteia」(ἀπιστεία),源自「apistos」(ἄπιστος)一詞,意思是「不信 Lack of Faith」或「沒有信心 No Faith」。  (太 17:17、可 9:19、路 9:41、約翰福音20:27

JGLM DHT Q&A call_January 16 2025 【有中文翻譯】

Featured question: “Can you receive an impartation to give you power to heal the sick?”

Answer: We have all things because of Christ. So, we don’t need any impartation from any man. See sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 15, 17 of the DHT manual.

Luke 9:49-50—Apparently the man in question (who did not follow Jesus) here never received any impartation from Jesus. Note Jesus did not qualify this man either.

Mark 16:15-18—The verses here do not mention impartation either. Jesus simply said those who believe will have these signs following them. Jesus talked about those whom the disciples would preach to. These things come from believing, not impartation.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_January 09 2025

Featured question: “If healing is a spiritual gift according to 1 Cor 12, does this mean that some people can heal the sick and some cannot?”

Answer: The question is loaded with error.

See sections 5-9 of the DHT manual. We heal the sick by faith, power and authority; we do not wait on a gift.

1 Cor 12:1—the word “gifts” is NOT in the original text; this verse should be interpreted as “concerning spiritual things…” Here we cannot use “gifts” to gauge our spiritual maturity.

1 Cor 12:30—It means when the church comes together, everybody does not operate in healing; this verse does not mean healing is only for some people.

Mark 16—there is no mention of the gift of healing here. Jesus sent the disciples out to operate in power and authority.

JGLM DHT Q&A call_January 02 2025

Featured question: “Why did Jesus heal?”

Answer: Compassion. See section 4 of the DHT manual.

Compassion is more than feeling someone else’s pain; it is about the action to address it and alleviate it. It is actively involved to end the situation that creates the pain and suffering. It is much more than just feelings.

Matthew 9:35-10:1—it is part of Jesus’s nature that He was moved by compassion, which is mentioned 14-15 times in the New Testament. The Holy Spirit wants to see people healed and restored more than we do.

Jesus gave His disciples the same power so that they could do exactly what He did.
