Featured question: “When someone is prayed for and doesn’t get healed, who is to blame for that failure?”

God is NOT responsible for someone who is not healed. Jesus’s commandment is for people to be healed; therefore, He cannot withhold healing for someone.
Jesus gave His disciples (including us) authority to do those things (healing, casting out demons, etc.). His will is always for people to be healed. Jesus came to enforce that on earth.
Is the devil responsible for someone not being healed? Luke 10:19—The disciples trump all abilities the devil has. The devil is defeated, and Jesus puts him in his place.
The devil is not more powerful than the Word of God. This matter is about settling it with the word of God.
How about the sick person? Jesus has never told any sick person that the sin in his life prevented Jesus from healing him. Healing has got nothing to do with the sick person. There is nothing in their life that is more powerful than the word of God.
The responsibility lies in the actual minister. Jesus gave the disciples the command to go heal the sick as He had already given them the authority to do so. Therefore, the responsibility is on the disciples. With the command comes the responsibility.
All the sacred cows out there are the result of people blaming everyone else but themselves, which comes from the sin conscience. There wasn’t one person Jesus failed to heal! We ought to do what Jesus did if we claim to be His followers/disciples.
Matthew 17:14-20—Jesus called them out for their unbelief as they could not get the job done. The world is tied to what they can see; if they cannot see, they don’t believe it.
Here Jesus did not talk to the father of the boy. He did not talk to God nor the devil about it (i.e., disciples’ failure in casting out the demon). It is the minister who has the responsibility in this situation.
Mark 7:6-13—“…making the word of God of no effect through your
tradition…”Every sacred cow is to make the word of God of no effect!
We have been given the executive power/authority to accomplish what God has commanded us to do.
James 5:13-15—“…the prayer of faith will save the sick…”Effective, fervent prayers, being a righteous man.

Q1: How come somebody who was divinely healed later suffers the same issue time and again?
A: Something else came. You can disciple them. It is about making disciples as the enemy always looks out for those who he can destroy. Building up those who are healed in Christ and making them disciple can help them grow stronger and stay healed. We are not guaranteed we will never be attacked by the devil again, but we are guaranteed we will grow stronger.
Q2: What if the whole life team pray and the guy still dies?
A: The situation does not change the principles. If he dies, we switch gears to raising the dead. Regardless, we have to submit ourselves to the word of God over what we see.
Q3: Does the healing have to be instantaneous?
A: Instantaneous healing is a miracle, but what Mark 16 states is a recovery process.
Sometimes healing is progressive, and sometimes instantaneous. See the example of the ten lepers. In short, it is according to your faith.
Q4: If we cannot lay hands on the sick, will the person be healed? If it is just you and Jesus, will it still work?
A: Yes. See the example of the Roman centurion’s servant. Jesus did not lay hands on him; He healed him from afar. We can speak to that situation.
Yes. What it takes is one believer. The prayer of faith will save the sick.

答：有別的東西來了。你可以門訓他們。這與門訓有關，因為敵人總是在尋找那些牠可以摧毀的人。在基督裡建立那些被醫治的人並門訓他們，可以幫助他們變得更強壯並保持醫治。我們不能保證我們永遠不會再被魔鬼攻擊，但我們保證我們會變得更強壯。
問題2：如果整個生命團隊都禱告了，但那個人還是死了怎麼辦？
答：這種情況不會改變原則。如果他死了，我們就轉向使死人復活。無論如何，我們必須讓自己順服神的話語，而不是我們所看到的東西。
問題3：醫治必須是即時的嗎？
答：即時醫治是一個神蹟，但馬可福音16章所說的是一個恢復過程。有時醫治是漸進的，有時是即時的。參見十個痲瘋病人的例子。總而言之，這是根據你的信心。
